Since 1984 the Abram Pace Eggers have performed the play, based on a version of the Lancaster Pace Egg play, in pubs and other venues around the locality during the week before Easter, finishing with performances at the Lancaster Maritime Festival on Good Friday.

Unfortunately the Maritime Festival is no longer held in Lancaster so the play no longer takes place on Good Friday.
